Munich transit network
The city of Munich has a well‑developed public transit network. However, to respond to the future needs of a sustainable urban and regional transportation system, a consequent further development of the network is necessary. The development of the transit network must not become a subject to particular individual interests. It has to follow the simple principle of the maximum socio‑economic benefits. Thus, the independent transit experts S. Baumgartner, T. Kantke und D.‑U. Schwarz worked out concepts for different parts of the future network. Stadtkreation prepared a web presentation for their propositions (German): Alternative concept for the Munich S‑Bahn, Pasing (U5/S‑Bahn) und Network concept North‑east.
